- Stocks / Bonds Donations Giving appreciating assets can be a tax-efficient way to make charitable donations. Donating a part of your portfolio that has increased in value can reduce the capital gains tax that you would owe if they were sold. As IBJ is a registered US charity, U.S. taxpayers will be entitled to a tax deduction for their full current market value to the extent allowed by law. In order to donate stocks/bonds/mutual funds, please contact us at: internationalbridges@ibj.org
- In-Kind Underfunded legal aid programs in developing countries lack the technological tools to serve their clients, which include: computers, telephones, investigative equipment such as tape recorders, video cameras, etc. Any such materials (new or second-hand) are of interest to our in-country programs.
