Access to legal education is a cornerstone of increasing public defender capacity around the world. With these tools, IBJ aims to create a universal standard for defence practice.

IBJ Defender Manuals

In places where IBJ has a full country program, it locally publishes a hardcopy Defender Manual as a helpful tool for practicing lawyers to use on the go in their daily work. Where possible we digitise these manuals to reach lawyers even in remote communities – online or through USB drives that are passed out at national training events.
