Delivering global impact

International Bridges to Justice is a global leader in systems change for access to justice, with an impact that spans 20 years. Every day in countries throughout the world, hundreds of thousands of people are arbitrarily detained, tortured, and denied access to counsel. This is solvable by providing protection for the vulnerable accused, via early access to lawyers in police stations, prisons and courtrooms.

IBJ's network of over 30,000 legal defenders rescues individuals trapped in broken judicial systems locally, improves public justice nationally, and leads a movement for legal-rights globally.

With our IBJ JusticeHub digital platform, and our Lawyer2Lawyer program we are scaling up this global collaboration to deliver ever-greater impact. We have over 90 Working Groups in need of assistance, and are seeking collaborators. Please review our priority JusticeHub Projects, so we can make a difference together.

COVID-19 is also a crisis for global justice

Our COVID-19 First Responders are working with Ministries of Justice, bar associations and prisons to ensure access to justice during the pandemic.
