About Isna

Isna has been a lawyer since 2018. She was formerly legal staff for Indonesia REDD+ Task Force. She is currently Internal Deputy and Director at Indonesian Center for Environmental Law.

The Innovation: “MASSIVE: Make Society Stand Up for Justice and Inclusiveness”

Based in the West Sumatra Province, especially in Pasaman Regency, Isna’s project will contribute to strengthening the understanding of the community, regional agencies, and law enforcement officers on the value of of a gender-inclusive legal system to ensure justice for all members of the community. By strengthening access to information, public participation, quality legal assistance, compiling adapted records of previous legal cases, and compiling and promoting PBH guidelines, the initiative will improve and ensure access to justice for women in conflict with the law.
