About Nur

Nur graduated with a Bachelor in Law in 1993. She is the Chairman of the Board and Director for LBH APIK Jayapura.

Nur was also a recipient of IBJ’s 2021 JusticeMakers Fellowship award as part of the EU sponsored project “Advancing Access to Justice for Women in Indonesia”.

The Innovation: “Strengthening the Fulfillment of the Rights of Women and Children in Conflict with the Law in Papua”

Based in Jayapura City, Papua Province, Nur’s project aims to provide law enforcement officers with training to effectively handle cases of women and children in conflict with the law, ensuring access to legal representation for vulnerable groups. The Women’s Law Enforcement Apparatus will be available to the police, prosecutors’ office, and courts to assist in handling the cases of women and children.
