Mustika was the first community LBH Masyarakat reached out to. Dhoho Ali Sastro, LBH Masyarakat’s Community Legal Empowerment and Advocacy Director, had been working with the community since their first eviction, and acted as the first contact with LBH Masyarakat. “The first time, a lot of NGOs were interested, but then they stopped paying attention. Only Dhoho was there for the communities, and he took us to be involved with them as well,” said LBH Masyarakat Program Director Ricky Gunawan said.
