Meet the Youth Justice Champions

Our Youth Justice Champions are the winners of the inaugural Youth for Youth Justice Competition, and were selected for their innovative projects improving juvenile access to justice in their countries and communities. The winners are from 3 continents and 10 countries, namely Burundi, Cameroon, Colombia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Togo and Zimbabwe. The IBJ Youth movement is made by Youth, for Youth and is unlocking the changemaker potential of young people, helping them to enact change and support children and juveniles in prison. Thanks to their work 260 children have been provided with psychosocial and legal assistance, over 30 youth clubs have been formed and thousands more youth have been reached through rights awareness activities.
