Their success will rely on their unity, and the ability of LBH Masyarakat to gain enough government support. If all goes well, the villagers will have stable housing, and employment; their children will be able to attend school and the community will have legal status. Or, they could face a situation similar to the eviction that occurred just seven years ago, when they were forced to return to the countryside without a way to make money or a place to live. Their success so far, however, has given them good reason to look optimistically for a resolution in the fall.
